The thing is that their software technology was much more limited during that time as Diablo 2 released in 2000, my understanding of MorphVox is that you CAN use the voice in real time which makes sense for DayZ usage as you'd have to otherwise pre record your lines, enhance them, then play them through your mic. I remember making a post some years ago on the battle net forums about this and someone mentioned that they probably enhanced the voice actors, Ed Trotta, voice before the player hears it insinuating that it was not likely to be able to emulate that voice effect in real time. The voice I'd like to try and mimic is Tyrael from the Diablo series, most notably Diablo 2. I've seen some really entertaining use of MorphVox and other voice changing software by DayZ players seeing as how the environment of the game is so ripe for such shenanigans, I'm really curious to whether or not it's possible to mimic a long desired voice that I've hoped to emulate.
